I'm really fascinated by teeth and their various shapes, arrangements, etc. I remember reading something a few years back that discussed several basic dental patterns, but I can't find it, or any info remotely like it. It was a fluff piece in a fashion mag I think, but I'm more interested in reading something slightly more substantial or scientific. Does there exist a taxonomy, or a conventionalized way for describing common dental patterns? Google searching yields little, and frankly, I feel like a bit of a freak for having such a weird attraction to these cute little things and all their delightful quirks. Bonus question, am I alone on this?

She is pursuing an experimental bone marrow treatment plan that has helped other dogs with this rare condition, but in the meantime her dog is limited to foods that have no triglycerides, polysaccharides, or mucopolysaccharides. Her question: are there any foods in the carbohydrate family that are NOT triglycerides, polysaccharides, or mucopolysaccharides? Or, to rephrase in maybe a simpler manner, are there any carbs that her dog can eat with this mucopolysaccharidosis disease? [more inside]

Law school + dog: I'm starting law school next fall, and I am currently looking at my housing options. I'm specifically looking for places that are pet friendly, but I need to know whether it is really possible for me to have a dog as a first year law student. Anyone out there been to law school recently? How much extra time will I have? (Assume that the neighborhood/apartment size is not an issue, and I've had dogs before so I know how to care for them.)
How can I keep my dogs from pulling large strips of bark off our tree, and how can I keep said tree from dying now that it's missing much of it's bark? [more inside]
