I'm about to become an 'early adopter' for the first time. The Olympus EP-1 digital camera will be hitting the market in July just at the time when I'm ready to upgrade. Two lens options available: 17mm or 14-42mm. Which one do I want? [more inside]

I just managed to screw up the lens on my Canon D400 and was hoping someone could give me some advice on how much it is likely to cost to fix? Basically, the focus seems to be slightly twisted and appears to come off it's 'thread'. I can turn the lens to focus but the action is stiff and jams rather than pulling the lens back towards the camera. Obviously, I am no expert, but is it likely that the lens can be fixed, or am I looking at throwing down money that I don't have on buying a new one? Thanks in advance!

the padres were cleaning out their house and came across some old camera lens' (along with my priceless collection of transformers), one is a Tokina 400mm. I currently have a Canon D20 and no telephoto, is it possible to purchase an adapter for this lens to get it to fit the Canon?
