I'm looking for a daypack that'll carry an SLR camera, an extra lens, a book, and a water bottle. I'd like it to be compact enough that it can't carry much else. I'd like it to offer some mild degree of protection to the camera and the lens. I don't mind if it's a backpack, shoulder bag, or sling. Style-wise, I'd rather it not look like a camera bag. And I'm a male. [more inside]
Essentially I'm looking for recommendations for a bag that will hold a DSLR and two lenses as well as a 10" tablet and some other smaller accessories. Extra points if it will also handle a full size keyboard, but I don't expect that to be possible.
Husband loves to take photos when hiking, but hates taking his backpack all the way off and on again every time he wants to reach for his camera. I need a hiking backpack for my husband that will hold all the regular stuff for a day hike but with some sort of easy access zippered side pocket where he can just reach around to grab his camera, shoot photos, and put it back inside while leaving the backpack on his back the whole time. Ideally for $60 or less. Searched around on amazon but cannot find it. Any suggestions? Thanks!
I'm looking for a travel bag that will hold the following: 15.6" laptop, 10" DVD player, 9" tablet, small camcorder, Kindle e-reader, mp3 player, various cords and power adapters. Any and all recommendations welcome. Bonus points if I can purchase it with 2-day shipping.
I am going to Ireland for 8 days in August with my mom, aunt and cousins. I'm looking at the average weather and panicking a little about what to pack/bring/carry. I specifically need a good backpack for a camera, and some decent looking shoes. Can you help? [more inside]
i am looking for a case for my new camera (canon rebel xs). i would like it to fit the camera with the kit lens and maybe have some extra room for a wallet. it doesn't necessarily have to be a camera case, but something that would fit and pad my camera and protect it from rain. thanks! thank you!
I need a new camera bag. I am looking for esoteric brands, beyond Domke or Lowepro. Can the hive point me in many different directions? [more inside]
I've made a new fabric product that I hope would sell 5000+ units. For viable efficiency I need to buy manufacturing of the product or its parts. I don't want to reveal my product idea, but let's use a SLR camera bag made in sturdy fabric as an example. My product has similar materials, size and complexity. How do I go from there? BagFilter: Looking for a camera bag for my DSLR that will also hold my smallish (13.3-inch) laptop if I need it to. Really, really prefer a messenger bag style. Also, I'm a guy. [more inside]
What type of all-in-one bag would you use to fly (economy across the country) with Nikon D-80 + MacBook Pro 15" (or equivalent equipment) that is comfortable, easy to store for flight, and functional? [more inside]
Yet another camera bag question. I love this Lowepro Slingshot bag. It's basically perfect except for one glaring flaw - it's backwards! [more inside]
What's the best shoulder bag for a Nikon D50, a telephoto and fisheye lens, and external flash. [more inside]
I've moved from a small just-about pocket-sized digital camera to something a bit bigger (though not DSLR sized) that certainly isn't pocket-sized. But I have really liked the portability of the point-and-shoot... so what have the MeFi camera crowd found to be the best ways to carry around a chunky piece of kit with the least amount of bother and attention? It's just the camera I want to take around - no extra lenses or accessories.
