I have two calendars in Google Calendar. One of them has a recurring event. How do I move a single one of a recurring event to the other calendar without changing the whole series?

asking for a friend who manages a restaurant: any recommendations for a free (or cheap) shared web calendar that lets users add and edit their shifts, that tracks when things are added or edited and by whom (by user themselves, or by a manager)? happy to host on our own server if needed.

I'm looking for an app that will create a daily schedule of events (for a conference). Needs to be able to: be displayed on the web, display multiple events throughout the day (hour-by-hour) – some events happen concurrently, link each entry to another web page (event details), and be able to be used by non-programmers.
See sample of ideal look here
Google Calendar comes close but it does not seem to have the ability to link individual entries to outside webpages – and it compresses all events that happen at the same time into a very narrow column so info becomes unreadable, and, of course, each person viewing needs and account.

I'm looking for a team calendar tool that supports multiple calendars/subjects, can be loaded as an embed or an iFrame, and allows people to subscribe to calendars/subjects in their calendar of choice (i.e. iCal or Outlook). Can be free or pay service.

After three great years my Google Calendar has simply stopped sending me email notifications. I have tried the help page here
and many unhelpful forum posts here
. This seems to be a prevalent problem. I wish I could switch to something else but Gmail is what I use heart and soul for work. Any others solved this problem? I am all ears. Thanks for your time.

What songs, from any genre, mention a specific calendar date. For example, Papa Was a Rollin Stone (the 3rd of September), September by EWF, (21st night, September. Pride in the Name of Love "early morning, April 4) etc?

There's lots of great online software for allowing multiple participants to vote on the best single meeting time. There's also software that will allow people to book individual appointment times from a calendar. But I'm looking for a resource that will allow me to invite people to pick from an assortment of specific
dates/times to schedule individual meetings with me. For example, let's say I have only ten one-hour blocks of time that are available for meetings next month. What online software will let me invite multiple people to choose from among those ten blocks, so that I am notified who picked which time, which is then not available to the remaining people?

Calendar math question: today is March 25, 2011. I found my old watch in a drawer and the time is still correct, but the watch date window says 13. Assuming the date window repeats 1 to 31 and that I always 'set' my watch correctly, what was the most recent month and year that I could have worn it? [more inside]

I need some sort of really "loud" notification when I have a meeting coming up at work. ("Load" is in quotes, because, ideally, it wouldn't be a sound -- it would be some sort of big, colorful visual display.) I (am forced to) use Outlook 2011. Mac OS X, Snow Leopard. [more inside]

A colleague is looking for a calendar to use on their training company's web site. They would like to pull from a PHP-driven database of their course outlines to display the course names on the appropriate dates in the calendar, with a link for each course listing on that date that would display the full course outline to the user when clicked. One or more courses could be offered on any given date. Is there a customizable product that you would recommend for the job, or are they looking at contracting someone to build this from scratch?

I need to find a great full-service business that can print and do fulfillment on thousands of 2011 calendars (they'll probably be purchased worldwide). Reasonably priced with great customer service por favor. Also, I'm a designer and the photos are going to be fantastic so I want to make sure the quality's great. Yeah, I'm demanding, I know. :) Any recommendations?

How can I sync an online calendar feed (xml) with either iCal or Google Calendar? I know I can sync iCal and gCalendar easily through several methods. But what I also need to include is my department's events calendar. I can import it as an iCal or Outlook file, but this is only a one-time option. Once the department's calendar is updated I don't receive the new or changed events. And I suspect if I import the (newer) file again, I will get many duplicates. The calendar has an xml feed I could subscribe to, but can't figure out how to translate this into a calendar that automatically syncs or updates. Willing to consider any options that would lead to the online calendar (.ics, .csv, or .xml file) being auto updated to any calendar application. This would make my life so much easier! Thanks!

iTunes broke my calendar. I can no longer sync Outlook to my iPod Touch because "sync server failed to sync." I can't find an answer to this on iTunes help although I do see that others have had this problem. Any suggestions? I've always done this over a USB cable. Nothing has changed except the calendar won't sync anymore. My iTunes software is up to date. I think Notes and Contacts are syncing -- though I just realized I haven't really tested that. I don't sync music in this operation, I do that from a different machine with different settings.
