Decent iPad/iPod cables? iPad and iPod usb cables infuriate me. The cables invariably fray at the connector junction, and the cable coating on several has simply disintegrated. Is there anywhere I can get solid iStuff cables that won't need replaced every 3 months? Preferably with some sort of reinforcement at the connector junctions? An Amazon search just gives me miles of what I presume is junk.

I am looking for a new Aux-In Cable (3.5mm, male to male) to use my mp3 player in my car. I had a couple of cheaper retractable ones, but they usually break after a short period of use. I live in a cold climate and the cord gets cold in the car for long periods of time and I think this has an affect on its life.
I have seen some people with thicker aux-in cables in their car and I have searched, but I can't seem to locate one for a decent price.
Does anyone know where I might be able to buy a thick (preferably white, but not critical) 3.5mm Aux-in cable?

Any recommendations for a high-quality iPod cable for my Sennheiser HD650 headphones? I've been a using a Cardas cable, but the cable's so heavy that it appears to be damaging the headphone jack on my iPod.

iPod connectors: I recently added an AudioVox FM modulator to my cars stereo so I can play my iPod over the radio more reliably than with an iTrip. It works great, but now I have a new annoyance to deal with - two cables coming out of the iPod. One for charging via the cigarette lighter, from the bottom, and one from the top for the audio connection to the Audiovox. I'd like to combine the functionality of these two cables and use a single cable from the bottom of the iPod. How? [more inside]

I have an iPod 4G with a click wheel that the USB cable has died on. I was going to order a generic cable for $5 from Amazon rather than the $20 connector from Apple. I read a review (two actually) on Amazon saying that there were sync problems with this cable. Anyone have experience with these cables?

Help me save my expensive headphones. The wire was severed. Too short just to attach a new plug. Where do I find a good quality thingy that connects two wires of this kind together? [more inside]
