My a cappella group is having a 20th anniversary bash in August, and I'd like to do something fun to display the set lists that I have collected over the last decade or so. I use the backs of our business cards to write our set lists in different colored pen, including the note to blow before each song, who will be introducing what, and other cryptic scrawls. I have amassed about 75 of these cards, and the group would like to display them as a piece of memorabilia of sorts. I have considered a business card collage, which could be interesting, but I'd like some more ideas.
Please help me be crafty!

I'm having business cards made, and I want them in a mini size (like 70mm X 28mm). But I can't seem to find a union print shop online that does cards with smaller dimensions like that. (Obvs I want a union bug). Thanks, hive-folk!

I'm looking to print business cards. 300 dpi seems to be the standard online but that isn't sufficient for my design. Anyone know an online company that prints 1200 dpi (or higher)?

I want to get business cards with borders. I was looking at moo, and they recommend not using a border because cropping may not be even on all sides. I'm not talking about scientific precision, but I would like my cards to appear even on all sides. Is this realistic, and are there other companies that do this better? I would also like to be able to get rounded corners and some sort of smooth matte or glossy finish on both sides.

My wife is in Paris attending a conference, and just realized that she didn't bring her business cards along! I know that freestanding machines exist to make these while-you-wait in other cities, but where can one go to get same-day business cards in Paris? Difficulty: some, but limited, French language ability.

Business cards circa mid-2012 - giving out paper business cards still seems necessary in most networking circles, but there's got to be a way of organizing the data in a useful matter... Right? Bonus points if it can interface with an iPhone and iPad. [more inside]

What did a business card look like in 1955? What was the printing method, stock, layout/typography, information contained, and lastly: how did the appearance vary between professions? In what ways did any of this change by 1965, '75, or '85? [more inside]

I need something that fit cash, ATM/credit cards/driver license/etc, AND a reasonable number (25 at least) of my business cards, so I can give them out at networking events without fear of running out. If those business cards are paper, it shouldn't bend them... and ideally it should also be small and look cool. I'm a guy btw. Am I asking for too much?

My blog is starting to do well and I'd like to get to get some business cards to hand out at a trade show in a few months.
I've looked into the do-it-yourself approach but I haven't been happy with the templates I've found or the designs I've made myself. Even though I don't really want to spend a lot of money, I'm thinking it might be worthwhile to invest in a professionally designed card.
So, can anyone recommend a business card designer and give me some idea of what it might cost? I also want someone who can print the cards and do it right. [more inside]

I'm working with a client who has an existing web logo designed the majority of which is three primary colors in RGB. So left to right it's a vertical stripe of Blue (#0000FF) next to a vertical stripe of Red (#FF0000), next to a vertical stripe of Yellow (#FFFF00). This logo now needs to go on business cards (plastic ones) and so needs to convert from RGB to CMYK in order to be printed. Problem being that the CMYK gamut just doesn't do those eye popping RGB turned up to 11 primaries so conversion leaves a lackluster product and the client on seeing the drafts in PDF with the colors converted is not impressed. Ideas for saving this one? CMYK versions of those colors that contrast in a similar way to their RGB equivalents? Recommendations for printers (online or in NYC) who can do 3.5" x 2", rounded corner, double-sided, plastic business cards with special inks? HELP!

I run a blog network and my bloggers want business cards. Ideally, I'd like to set it up so I can design the card and put it online where they can order as many of them as they want, when they want. Is there a service that lets me do this? Cafe press doesn't really do business cards. Moo.com doesn't appear to let me create a design that others can order. What else is there?

I want to make my own business cards in Photoshop. Nothing fancy, just some text in B&W, so that part I can do myself. But the layout's proving a bit tricky. Any good tutorials on making your own business cards? My end product should be an A4 sized, 8-up or 10-up, in PDF format that I can run over to Kinko's and have them print out and cut.
