I'm trying to figure out the name of a restaurant (burger joint) that is probably within 100 miles of some edge of Yellowstone National Park. What I remember: it served buffalo burgers, and had an alliterative name with a woman's name and some sort of negative adjective. That adjective may have been "horrible," i'm more certain that it started with the letter "h." I seem to remember some piece of lore about the owner or maybe the owner's son being a chainsmoker. Google fails me. Help!

My mother was reminiscing about food she enjoyed as a youngster/young adult and she mentioned a "burger chain that had a 'Scot Burger'" that somehow involved some craziness that sounds a whole lot like coleslaw but made with Green Goddess dressing. She swears it is not Green Goddess dressing, per se, but could be similar. My google-fu has turned out the link above, but fails me as to the exact make up of the alleged "Scot burger". Please help!

About tempeh. I've been driving 20 miles occasionally to get tempeh burgers from native foods . I've bought both of their cookbooks and I intend to start making my own burgers. I assume that I can I find tempeh at health food stores but I assume that there is a lot of variability between tempeh brands. I was hoping that I could get pointers to local brands (in Los Angeles) that would be well suited to making veggie burgers. Any tips on cooking tempeh would be appreciated too.

BBQFilter: I'm going to make some burgers tonight to throw on the BBQ, but every time I have done it in the past it has been a failure (either fall-apart burgers, or less than satisfactory in the taste department). I have googled, and tried many recipes, so that is where you wonderful people come in. What are your tried and tested burger recipes and tips? I have some ground beef for me and some ground turkey for the missus thawing as we speak... make my mouth water!
