Help me brainstorm clever astrophysics bumper stickers! I've seen stickers along the lines of "Save Pluto" and "I brake for black holes." But I'm trying to come up with clever, pithy ideas for bumper stickers, where by reading them you would immediately know the driver was an astrophysics fan.

To be specific, this is a bumper sticker for not just a space fan, or a science fan, but for a fan of astrophysics.

I've looked online and I haven't seen anything of the sort. This isn't for commercial reasons, but for a story I'm working on. The shorter and funnier the slogan, the better.

Thanks!

I've been asked to remove a bumper sticker in order to qualify for a job.

Corporate policy and bumper stickers. I've been asked to remove a sticker in order to qualify for a job. I'm a systems administrator working for a small company which provides IT staff to larger companies. I'm scheduled to take over for one of our other employees who's moving out of state. The position I'm filling is not new to the client, nor are the job requirements different from my current position. I'm simply moving from one of our clients to another client but providing the same service.

This client has been very excited to hear that I will be staffing for them in place of the current guy.

I stopped by the client's site early one morning to pick up some computer hardware. During the ten minutes my car was in the parking lot someone noticed one of my bumper stickers which reads "W - The Idiot." I created and sold these as a riff on the "W - The President" stickers that were common in my area.

My boss received a call from the owner of the client business stating, in no uncertain terms, that I am not welcome to work there as long as the sticker is on my car. The reason given was the "respect of the Office of President of the United States, regardless of your personal views" canard. The owner just coincidentally happens to be a republican who donates the maximum allowed amounts each year to the party. Total coincidence.

Even if this were a company policy and not the owner's whim, are such things permissible? I've got a few other stickers as well which could potentially offend religious people and bigots. I'm not about to remove them either. By declining to remove the sticker in question, would this client have any legal grounds to terminate their contract with my company?

I've told my boss that I'll take the weekend before getting back to him, though I let him know I am not interested in removing the sticker. He is not asking that I do so, but may not be interested in starting a fight with the client.

I'd like to know if it's legal for a company to have policies that cover things outside of work like this, especially political speech. Your thoughts are greatly appreciated.

My car is like a mullet - sometimes business, sometimes party

How to put a bumpersticker on fiberglass so that it is easily (and instantaneously) removable and replacable? I like to have many bumperstickers on my car. However, I cannot permanently affix them to the car.

To solve this, I put my bumperstickers on magnetic vinyl and attach them to the metal parts of my car. However, I'm running out of steel parts on the back of my car and would like to move to putting stickers on the (fiberglass) bumper of my car.

My requirements are that whatever I use, it has to be easily removable/reattachable (the stickers are removed from the car 1x to 2x a week), and leave no residue on the car.

(I saw this question but I'm not sure the low-tac adhesive would stand up to repeated removal/attachment.)

DIY bumper sticker materials?

Help me make my own bumper sticker please! Do you know where I can find plain white bumper sticker material that I could write on? So, I've got a great idea for my own Obama bumper sticker, but I don't want to go through the hassle of creating one a la CafePress. Is there anywhere I can go to buy or order a few plain white bumper stickers that I can write on with a Sharpee or something? Will they hold ink?

DIY enthusiasts, please help a brother out!

Thanks,
Trouble is, I really really want the classic yellow one, and I can't find it for sale anywhere.
No no? On on?

What is the meaning of the bumper sticker that's shaped like a foot and says either "No-No" or "On-On"? The sticker looks like the UNC Tarheels logo but is usually horizontal and has the words No-No (if applied one way) or On-On (if applied the opposite way). I've seen it outside of NC, so I don't think it's related to the university.

Cryptic Bumper Stickers

Two cryptic bumper stickers spotted separately in Chicago, do you know what they mean? (1) "You Will Be Safe." (2) "Maroon Life -- a Life of Resistance." I really like the first one--sort of like a fortune cookie, but spookier. Maybe a band name? The second one might be a reference to U of Chicago, where the sports teams are known as the Maroons, but this seems like a stretch. Google has failed me on both.

I love cryptic bumper stickers.

What's this bumper sticker?

A couple months ago I saw three parked cars in a row with the same bumper sticker. I made the requisite "Are they on the same team?" crack. Since then, I've been noticing the same bumper sticker on other cars. What is it? It's a white square sticker. It's applied at a 45 degree angle, so it's "diamond-shaped". There's a horizontal blue line across the middle. There's a perpendicular vertical blue line across the middle. There are two other verticle blue lines from top to bottom - one on each side of the center vertical line.

And why apply the bumper sticker at an angle? Couldn't you just rotate the symbol?

What does Porta O Theos mean?

My parents saw a bumper sticker that says Porta O Theos on it, and don't know what it means. Googling finds many greek language discussions containing the text, but not much of a clue on its meaning, and there's a mention of another person trying to figure out the same thing. Greek -> English translators didn't help. Thanks.

Bumper Sticker Mystery

I've seen a bumper sticker on a significant number of cars, and it's been bugging me for a long time. It's (very roughly) 15x6cm. It has the letters "ET P" in blue on a white field, and there are very small symbols to the left of the E and to the right of the P. I've never been able to get close enough to a sticker to see what they are, nor has googling really been much help. The sticker is almost always on the left of the rear bumper. I can only recall seeing the sticker on my commute in Southern CT, USA, so it's possible it's a regional thing. What is this sticker for? What does it mean?

Inspired by COBRA!'s question: I've seen a sticker on cars all around Seattle ever since I moved here but have never been able to figure out what it means. It has no text and doesn't seem to be connected to any ad campaign. It is a yellow equals sign superimposed on a purplish blue square. At first I thought it might be somehow related to the equal housing opportunity logo but it is kind of hard to imagine hundreds of people all over the city expressing their enthusiasm for HUD policy...
