I'm looking for survey results or data on the amount of money spent annually on staff training and development by organizations similar to mine (public sector, Canadian, 1000+ employees). Comparisons to U.S. organizations would be fine too.
Is there such a thing as an industry standard for staff training, e.g. $150 per person, per year?

What should I do until I have the project management skills to actually handle the workload I've been assigned? (I'm kind of freaking out here.)
