How do I get Firefox to auto-resolve one word entries into the URL bar to .com, rather than initiating a google search? [more inside]

My firefox homepage and keyword.URL have been hijacked by "eSnips". It's incredibly persistent and resists all attempts to change. How do I kick its ass? [more inside]

Firefox ~ Mozilla
What is the relationship between Firefox and Mozilla? Is Firefox just the revised browser component of the suite of programs called Mozilla?

I really love using Firefox instead of IE as my browser, but I'm having problems with Firefox at work. About half the time I try to use it at work, it won't load anything. It tells me that the page timed out. Whenever this happens, I have to browse with IE instead until Firefox starts working again, several minutes later. I have no problems with Firefox at home. I've heard this is a firewall-related issue, but I don't really understand. Is there a way to fix this?

Mozilla? Firefox? Camino? I'm ready to try a new browser, but I'm confused by the differences between these three. Currently using Safari 1.2.2 on an iMac and an iBook, both with 10.3.4. I have a license for Opera, but it's simply more than I need. I don't need IRC and I don't need HTML (yet?). I would like for it to sync bookmarks between the 2 Macs (I have iSync and a .mac account) and to work reasonably well with AppleMail, Address Book, etc. What's the best choice for a non-geeky girl?

Does anybody know of a decent browser for Mac OS 9? I'm stuck on it at work, using an unofficial hack of Mozilla 1.3.1, and I'm getting left behind. [more inside]

I can't look at my own weblog. I'm using Mozilla, and I get a message that says:
The file / cannot be found. Please check the location and try again.
I've tried to access it through the very few people who've linked me, and I get the same message. I've tried typing in, and I get the same message. What's going on? [more inside]

Help with Mozilla Thunderbird
: I, somewhat foolishly, decided to upgrade my copy of Thunderbird yesterday at the same time as I was getting the new Fire[fox|bird]. I went from 0.3 to 0.5 and now I can't send mail from any of my accounts. [MI] [more inside]

I hang my head in shame as I post this, but here goes: in my zealous effort to eliminate browser helper objects on 2 Windows 2000 Pro Dells in our computer lab, I somehow seem to have eliminated IE and Mozilla's ability to browse, as well. I can ping our webserver so I know they can get online, but I keep getting "unable to resolve this (or any other) web page" errors. Do I now have to reinstall IE or wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows to make this work? Or....
