Scientifically I'm not sure what is going on but the doctor said I most likely broke a bone in my hand and I have am MRI in a couple days. (The x ray was inconclusive but he is 90 percent sure)I've got pain meds and am trudging along. I'm tring to adjust to my new one hand lifestyle as it is in a cast. [more inside]

My girlfriend just broke her arm a few inches above the elbow (spiral fracture). She's currently in a splint and will possibly get a plate and pins in a few days. She works at a desk job, which she will return to after a week or two of rest. What can we do to make life easier (tips, special equipment, etc)?

Broken tibia & fibula, 3.5 months ago, clean snap. I got an intramedullary rod in the tibia, screws at the ankle and knee, and absolutely no recommendations for PT other than some exercises to do at home from the doctor. I managed to break my right ring finger in a cycling accident (completely clean break between knuckles) and now have pins in for ~3wks.
