I've got three new baby kittens with no mother, and I need to feed them. I don't have access to any good pet stores or veterinary clinics, but I do have lactose-free baby formula and a plastic syringe with the needle removed, which I've been using to feed them so far. But is there a foolproof method of holding them or something to get them to drink from it? I can usually get them to drink, but only about half of the amount recommended. More details inside.

Help me make an argument to my direct boss, and then facilities/HR, about why we should have a per-building lactation room on our three-building work campus (vs. one lactation room in one building).

I'm leaving my 7 month old baby with his other mom for three days. This will be the first time I'm away from him for longer than a couple of hours, and the first time I won't be able to nurse him. I am really anxious about this. What can I do to help this go as smoothly as possible, and keep me sane?

I'm about two weeks away from the birth of my first child. I am emphatic about breastfeeding, but more importantly pumping breast milk for when I have to go back to work. Help me figure out the Affordable Health Care Act (crassly called Obamacare) and how I can get my hands on the necessary supplies and support that I'll need very, very soon.

What are the safest dental options for a missing front tooth while breastfeeding? I am breastfeeding my infant son and I need to have get a dental implant or a bridge for a missing front tooth. I am considering delaying the procedure until he is done nursing -- at least 10 more months -- so that he is not exposed to anything toxic.

I don't feel the "let down" when I'm nursing. The baby is wetting/pooing enough and growing great, so I must be making enough milk. Why don't I feel it?
On a related note: I don't feel any kind of lovely feeling when I nurse which makes me wonder if I'm not releasing oxytocin. I went 2 weeks overdue, which makes me think my body may not produce it naturally (pitocin is man-made oxytocin). Of note: I hate having my nipples manipulated during sex (or any time) and I've never, ever wanted make-up sex in my very happy 13 year marriage.
Who would I ask about this medically? an endocrinologist?
