I am having serious issues finding a bra that fits me. However, since I've been to multiple stores already, I've had some success defining exactly what I need. Previous Qs on bras don't address my very specific petite, plus-size situation. Metafilter, does this bra exist?? [more inside]

For a friend:
She has double d boobs and any exercise involving jumping is painful. Even if she wears 2 sports bra's to keep the ladies in check. She is in the US. What should she get so she can do insanity without too much pain?

Hi ladies, I have searched the internet high and low and I am at a loss!
I am looking for something similar to the Commando Tulip bralette to wear under blouses for work. The caveats are:
Can't show nipples (knocks out the Tulip).
Looking for long line so I can tuck my shirts into skirts without wearing a cami underneath (too much bulk).
Some kind of support - I'm a 34C cup.
No lace cups (texture shows through most blouses).
Must be nude color.
Can anyone help me find a solution? I'm not sure why this has proved to be so challenging!

I know I'm not the bra size I wear. I am in between sizes/small size that I would have to specialty order. I am at the point that I want to drop some money to specialty order a bra that will actually fit. The problem is I'm not 100% sure what that size is. [more inside]

Having problems getting a comfortable bra. Trips to Nordstrom or other fancy bra-fitting places are out of forseeable time range. Can anyone give me advice on what I should be looking for? [more inside]

I like reading blogs containing tips and general info on wearing petticoats, garters, different kinds of slips, tights, of course bra styles, and other such articles of clothing. Help me find them? [more inside]

Where should I go in Berlin to buy good bras? What are the good European brands that can accommodate a plus size, busty gal (I think my Euro size is ~85E)? I've recently moved here from the U.S., where I know how to do all this. I'm prepared to spend some money for quality. I don't think I need a fitting, but I need to know where to go and what brands to look for. And what's bra buying etiquette here, i.e., can I try them on in the store? I don't want to do it wrong! Those Karstadt shop ladies can be really bitchy, and I don't want to get yelled at.

I am only a C cup but I have a 48" span. Help me find bras that fit that are available online (Available to Canada would be excellent too). [more inside]

Is anyone working on developing a sturdier elastic band? In other words, isn't there something better than the stuff they use for bras, which inevitably become slack after only a matter of months? Have you come across a bra with an indestructible elastic band?

Ruffly panties online, or in NYC? i.e. cute, classy panties/bras/corsets/etc that won't break the bank. Victoria's Secret falls apart pretty fast, in my experience. Looking for something a step up, but not ridiculously expensive or (on the other hand) trashy. At the very least, how much should I be looking to spend on such a thing? [more inside]

Should I wear a bra to bed? As it is now I tend to sleep on my stomach which is playing havoc with my neck. Will sleeping in a non-underwired bra actually be more comfortable, and enable me to lie on my side in supported comfort? If so... where can I get such a bra? [more inside]

I've finally undergone a proper bra fitting, and it turns out I'm a 40J. While this would be okay if I was happy just wearing old lady bras
, I want to wear nice sexy bras too. Are there any places that sell fancy lingerie for the overly large-breasted women? (Bonus points for online and/or in the UK.)
