I'm seeking a specific silver hook and eye clasp for a fisherman bracelet I lost. The hook piece has a swordfish embossed on it. I have looked high and low on the big jewelry, jewelry and beading supply sites and etsy but no luck.
Picture of clasp
Immense sentimental value! I've seen Ask MeFi work some crazy magic in the past, I'd be eternally grateful for your help!

Silver Pandora bracelets for teen nieces: Great idea, or old fogie fail? The girls are 14 and 16, in the US. Would this be something cool for them, or is there a new hotness along these lines that would more appreciated? (I'm working from thousands of miles, a different continent – and quite a few decades – away!) [more inside]

I'm looking for a dark, well made, quality leather wrist cuff/bracelet that's about an inch thick with a snap closure. The internet seems flooded with crappy cuffs with lots of junk stuck on them. Can you recommend a shop/person? I lean more towards something that looks vintage/distressed rather than new, stiff, and polished. This is for a man, but think more unisex.

So, as of today I'm off coumadin and on Plavix. I wore (and still have on) a medalert bracelet for the former drug at my doctor's insistence. I forgot to ask him about this detail when I saw him today. [more inside]

Help me find a replacement for this bracelet
! It is broken
and I used to wear it daily. The catch: I have no idea where it came from as I found it on the street 4 years ago. [more inside]

My girlfriend really likes bracelets made from ordinary objects. She has a fork bracelet and a bike chain bracelet already. What are other objects that I could turn into bracelets for her? Or, alternatively, what are some cool Etsy shops that make cool bracelets out of everyday stuff? [more inside]

My fiancee lost a (sentimentally) valuable bracelet in Manhattan on Saturday night. What could I do to help locate it? It's silver with interlocking hearts -- one larger gold heart. It may have been lost on the N train or the 6 train uptown or downtown or in the area between 63rd and York and 59th and Lex. I'll do anything to get -that- bracelet back.. any ideas?
