So, I just started dating someone exclusively on Sept. 1st. I leave on the 16th to visit Germany for a month. I'm meeting my boyfriend's friends for the first time this Saturday - at a birthday dinner (at a restaurant) for one of them. I would like to bring some sort of token of thoughtfulness or something to the birthday girl... nothing expensive as I don't want to seem like I'm showing off or anything (and I'm a poor college student anyway)... thoughts?
