I'm on my mother's checking account (in case of emergency, i believe as just someone who can access it - but not jointly {if that makes sense}) and she bounced a check. What effect does this have on me? [more inside]

A friend of mine from Ireland did some things that were a tad bit illegal when he lived in California about seven years ago. Now I live in California, and he's considering visiting, but he's worried. Should he be? [more inside]
