I need a "stuck in the school library" hobby.

I'm looking for a project that can be done mostly on the computers at my school. I'm usually there for 8-9 hours waiting for a ride, and my schoolwork takes me around an hour to finish. I'd like to put the rest of that free-time towards something productive. [more inside]

I see your shotgun and I raise you a zombie creeper.

The girlfriend and I are going to Hawaii in a few weeks and have a 10 hour flight. I'm looking for a fun, nerdy card game to bring with us to kill some of that time, something that would be fun for two people. We both like the Fluxx variants, but they tend to spread out which seems inconvenient for the plane. Also probably things that require shouting or slapping (a la Spoons) would be bad. Bonus points if it's readily available at The Compleat Strategist in NYC.

Ways to make working out less boring and torturous?

I hate working out. It's incredibly boring. I've tried music, and it does help to a degree, but it's not enough. I don't have anyone to work out with. Last time, I put my towel over my head and drowned out outside sensory input as much as possible and was able to perform better. But that makes the boredom much worse. [more inside]
