Back in 2009, Sleater-Kinney.net hosted a collection of 176 live bootlegs of the band; it was stored as eight zipfiles collectively known as "The Live Vault". (
archive.org shot of the Live Vault page.) Since then the site has gone offline and the recordings seem to have disappeared from the Internet. If you have copies or know who to speak to about them, I would greatly appreciate any pointers.

On my old computer (bookmarks now lost, sadly), I used to always go to a site that had free legal downloads of unreleased bootlegs of music shows. There was a bit of an emphasis on classic rock -- Dylan, Neil Young, Rolling Stones, etc. Now I can't remember what it was called! Can anyone help?

I saw Pearl Jam the other night in Boston (incredible show!), and as we spent 45 minutes waiting to get out of the garage, we saw the bootleg shirt sellers drop prices to the point that one guy just gave them away. It got me wondering about the actual process and distribution system of these shirts. Like start to finish, how does it work?

I was trying to find out when the legitimate release of The Larry Sanders Show on DVD was dropping, when I came across a site that already had the show for sale. I assumed this was just a bootleg (since Shout! Factory has the actual home video rights), but I came across something odd...

I'm looking to pick up a TV series on DVD. I'm fine with buying used DVDs, but some eBay sellers worry me. I see folks who offer the same collected sets, using the same pictures, and the whole set is selling for significantly less if I bought the seasons individually. Are they trustworthy? Or am I unaware of large discount sales where these people might get their stock? More queries inside.

What are the most interesting Beatles bootlegs? How do you get them? Are there any interesting "legit" bootlegs?
