I am
a del.icio.us power use, and I am trying to use the new Firefox 2.0 which integrates with del.icio.us. I'm having some trouble. First, all of the bookmarks I had stored locally that were in folders seem to have disappeared. Where did they go? Second, because I have soooo many bookmarks on del.icio.us, I have the "Bookmaek synching in progress" bar loading constantly, and it REALLY slows down my Firefox speed.
Can anyone help me find my missing bookmarks? Does anyone have tips on how to use Firefox 2.0 with bookmarks without the molasses speed?

What's the best online bookmark managing tool?
Importance placed on being able to access them from any computer and an interface/usability similar to bookmarks native in firefox?

I can't get del.icio.us to work for me! The 'pop-up' and 'post' buttons in my tool bar open with IE and I think this is causing problems. Is there a way to get them to open with Mozilla instead of IE?
No problems happen if I click the post method from my saved (mozilla) bookmarks, that works perfectly, but if possible I'd like to be able to click on my toolbar..
I can't find any help for del.icio.us, at least not for this problem, not even with a google search. I'm hoping someone here will know what to do. I'd really like to use del.icio.us Thanks!

Are there any alternatives to del.icio.us that A) allow private bookmarks and proper categorization, B) have simple (I'm thinking along the lines of
FoxyLicious for Firefox) and complete browser integration and C) are reasonably fast.(Gmail-type would be nice, I could tolerate slightly slower)
I have checked Furl, but I get the feeling it's not quite what I want. Hyperlinkomatic seems to be close, but the couple of times I have hit the site it hasn't been teriffically fast, and for my bookmarks that's not really acceptable. Moreover, I haven't seen anything like the above-mentioned FoxyLicious for it.
