Using Chrome. Sometime in the past, I used Firefox. When I stopped, I imported my bookmarks into Chrome. I now have multiple bookmark doodads, can't figure out how to integrate them, and can't figure out how to organize them either as they are or after they're integrated. Help? [more inside]
I wish I had more time to research this, but frankly I do not. [more inside]

I use Chrome at work, and usually open up the same set of five or six websites every day, multiple times a day. I do not store non-work-related bookmarks on this browser, so I have to load the sites up manually every time. Help! I deleted most of my Chrome bookmarks (imported from Firefox, a few months ago, but edited quite a bit) when I was trying to rename that Folder. Is it possible to recover? Some will be in history, but what a job. I had resorted to a google search for how to edit bookmark folders, and found something awkward using left click (actually control-click on the Mac), and thought I was deleting a character , and boom, whole folder gone. I'm on an Imac running OS 10.5.8, if that is relevant.
So I'm having a problem with Chrome sync. I think. [more inside]

Is it possible to disable the "most visited / recent history" tab in the Google Chrome browser? I can set Chrome so that it loads a blank page on startup, but when opening a tab it displays all my most visited sites. This inspired one very embarrassing moment when a friend unconsciously CTRL-Tabbed and saw a glaring menu of my darkest internet meanderings. Several sites claim to be able to solve this but no instructions I have yet followed have made any difference.
How do I move the "other bookmarks" folder link from the right side to the left side of my bookmarks toolbar when using the Google Chrome browser?
