Finding an old 80's sci-fi flick.

Sci-Fi Movie Filter: Trying to locate the title of a movie I saw in the late 80's. It was set in the US in the near future. A private eye or cop was trying to track down someone smuggling a deadly drug or chemical that - when it came in contact with the human body - dissolved it in a fantastically gruesome fashion with smoke and screaming. The first person you see dying this way is a shuttle pilot. I remember very clearly a scene in a post-mortem where the ME says "We recovered his hand" and picks up the hand, only it is brown and mushy and comes to pieces on his glove.

And then later, one of the baddies injects what he thinks is his fix of some amazing drug but - you guessed it - he starts smoking and screaming.

There's one other scene I clearly remember when the PI/cop steals some sort of nifty shuttle that an old lady had illegally stashed in her garage.

Any ideas? It was definitely low budget and had a faintly Logan's Run style to it. Possibly it was released directly to video. I don't remember any of the actors.

Too big for her?

Sex question: what to do about being "too big"? Could have done this anonymously, I suppose, but I'm asking on the spur of the moment and I can't take the delay.

Anyway, my girlfriend says that sometimes when we have sex I'm "too big", and this is seriously messing things up.

For what it's worth, I am not especially "big". It's the proper size, normal size, average or slightly above average. Some other girls I have slept with have said "that's big" but not one has said that it's the biggest... I mean, occasionally I've asked them about the biggest, and heard about serious freaks, but I am solidly in the average range.

But my girlfriend is quite petite, and I'm too big for her sometimes. To the extent that any position from behind is becoming out of the question - "it's like you're fucking my womb". This has happened before, with other people, it being slightly painful in certain shapes, but never to the extent that those shapes were out of the question.

But even the positions that are not out of the question become painful sometimes for my girlfriend, and it's getting in the way...

So my question is what to do about this? Are some bodies just incompatible? I thought about not going in completely, but that would be hard to maintain & besides would involve missing out on all kinds of extra, useful rubbing etc. Could lube help? I know you Americans are crazy about lube, but I've never used it, no one I know has, & always thought it had something to with circumcision in a way. Can it help with length? Can it stop the "fucking my womb" feeling?

Term for bodies/sex obession?

Is there a term for a seemingly excessive pre-occupation with bodies/ sex? I have a male friend (in the U.S.) who is constantly judging/thinking/commenting about: the figures of women AND having sex with as many women he can.

He's in his forties and as for himself he's always in shape, takes steroids, tanned. He likes nudist clubs and doesn't mind, but is not obsessed with, porn.

Art or what?

So we just saw Bodies: The Exhibition in Amsterdam, and have a few questions... In case you're not familiar with the show, this is the official US website, and this is the last London show.

Here is the website for the Amsterdam show (in het Nederlands).

Here are our questions:

The organisers claim 20 bodies, but there are a hell of a lot "parts" in stand alone exhibits; how many total?

Can these still be considered human bodies, given the processing they've been through?

Finally, just where do they get the bodies from? We both noticed they appear oriental from both facial expression and stature, but have the organisers ever discussed where they source their corpses?

Do people sometimes regret losing a massive amount of weight?

I need to lose a lot of weight, but I'm worried about being left with excess skin. Like, it worries me to the point where I'm reluctant to even start Project Weightloss. My question is: do people sometimes regret losing a massive amount of weight? When it comes to discussions of weightloss, it seems like loose skin is a forbidden subject; the weightloss industry pretends it doesn't exist, except to imply that working out and developing muscle tone will fix it (muscle tone and skin tone are different things). People who've lost a lot of weight often seem to gloss over the issue, saying stuff like, "Yeah, it's pretty terrible, but I'd rather have the baggy skin than the fat!" I just don't know if I buy this; sometimes it seems like cognitive dissonance, or someone trying to make peace with their current body.

Here's my situation: I'm 32 and female. I've always been fat, but right now I'm about forty kilos overweight. I've never loved my body aesthetically (I think that's normal for most women) but I've always been at peace with it and it's served me well. I consider myself sexy. I'm healthy, with excellent blood pressure, blood sugar and cholesterol levels - but my cardiovascular fitness is shit. I get puffed really easily and I don't feel at all agile. I am definitely, even by my own forgiving standards, too fat. I would like to lose some weight but feel paralysed by the idea of giving myself a deformity. I'm fine with my body, looks-wise, as it is... okay, that's not really true, but I'm just not convinced that I'll look better if I lose weight. I'm worried I'll look a lot worse and feel hideous.

The other thing is, I've googled a lot of cosmetic surgery pictures and seen what's involved in an abdominoplasty; I've been pretty horrified with both the before and after pictures, and I doubt I could ever afford to get one anyway.

So, I'd like to know the truth. Are people who've lost a lot of weight ever traumatised by it and wish they could go back to how they were? Or perhaps my real question is: how do I deal with this anxiety and lose the weight anyhow? If you'd like to talk to me about this privately, my email for this question is anonfatty@gmail.com

Nicotine bingeing

I can go all day without smoking a cigarette if my mind is on something else, but when I have them I go through half a pack to three quarters of a pack a day. Is this normal? I know that some people lack a way to properly break down nicotine in their bodies, requiring less smoking per day. Does this have something to do with it?

Do you 'merge' with your partner when you have sex?

Do you 'merge' with your partner when you have sex? (more inside...) I know certain schools of spiritual thought teach ways for couples to merge while making love - heck, even the Spice Girls sang "2 Become 1" - but is this something you experience when having sex?

Have you ever felt the two separate bodies melding together to form a singular pulsing mass? Not just the emotional closeness of being with another person, but an actual physical sensation. Is it something you experience every time, or just under certain circumstances? Does it always feel good, or does it feel bad?
