Sci-Fi Movie Filter: Trying to locate the title of a movie I saw in the late 80's. It was set in the US in the near future. A private eye or cop was trying to track down someone smuggling a deadly drug or chemical that - when it came in contact with the human body - dissolved it in a fantastically gruesome fashion with smoke and screaming. Is there a term for a seemingly excessive pre-occupation with bodies/ sex? I have a male friend (in the U.S.) who is constantly judging/thinking/commenting about: the figures of women AND having sex with as many women he can. He's in his forties and as for himself he's always in shape, takes steroids, tanned. He likes nudist clubs and doesn't mind, but is not obsessed with, porn.

I can go all day without smoking a cigarette if my mind is on something else, but when I have them I go through half a pack to three quarters of a pack a day. Is this normal? I know that some people lack a way to properly break down nicotine in their bodies, requiring less smoking per day. Does this have something to do with it?
