I've been publishing a blog for a couple of years on Wordpress. Whenever I log into the dashboard, I'm informed that my domain "is available to be registered and added to your blog. (You can use it as your blog address.)"
support page on domains is here
Are there any drawbacks to registering it? Will all the widgets work the same way? Will my SEO be effected? Will my wordpress followers still be subscribed? What else should I consider?
It's a small blog updated with a couple lengthy posts each week; about 300 subscribers and 500 page views per day.

Seeking recommendations for dealing with many Wordpress sites from one central location. I have a number of personal sites, plus work related sites, and would like a secure, central way to deal with them all – plus a wishpony that is probably not even a spark in some stallion's eye... [more inside]

How can I turn someone else's WordPress blog into a PDF? There's a blog so good that I'd like to read every entry, from the beginning, as if it were a book. Is there an easy way to turn someone's blog into a book? Blogbooker
seems to require me to be the owner of the blog, as I'd need to login and export the blog.

I've got a personal Wordpress (2.0.4) blog at my domain. I'd like to archive that blog, and create a new one (at the same domain) for work-related blogging. What's the best way of going about it? [more inside]

Does anyone have any thoughts on the best way (and the best script?) to implement a commenting system for normal web pages? I am currently torn between setting up WordPress as a CMS which would provide that functionality or trying to find a script I can add to a page (and there are to be 40 or so separate pages each needing separate comment fields). WordPress users: What plugins have you found useful? My wife and I are both new WordPress users, after an arduous battle to wrest our previous entries from Blogger's paws. I'd like to extend the functionality of our sites, but the number of plugins available is a little daunting. What plugins do you use?

I'm a TypePad user, moving to Movable Type. I know that MT is much more powerful, but out of the (virtual) box, it is lacking in a lot of the cool features (book lists, photo albums, blogrolls) that TypePad has built in.
What's the best place for a n00b like me to go to start bringing MT into line with what I had in TypePad? I've been slogging through the MT Plugins site, but if there's an even easier guide out there, I'll gladly admit I'm an MT loser and just paint-by-numbers!

I need a really basic web application that functions similar to a blog system but isn't. All I want is to create a single page with a question to which I will invite people to respond. I've considered using a wiki, but I don't want anyone to be able to edit anyone elses response. I'd also like to be able to sort responses based on a few required fields (but this isn't essential). I can just create a second Wordpress install with only 1 post, but that seems like overkill. [more inside]

Is there any good solution for multi-url blog software? I've got a bunch of domains, and I want to run different blogs on each of them, but I don't want to have to install, say, a separate copy of Wordpress for each of them (and then have to go update all of them individually when there's an update). They're all located on the same physical server (linux/Apache).
