I am looking for a list of blogs that concentrate on a subject matter similar to the "87 cool things" presentation from google creative labs (
slideshare link here).
I keep seeing things like the Tupac hologram or arduino-controlled light or even stuff like the nike chalkbot and wonder what blogs to look out for technical possibilities over a wide area. I am aware of gizmodo, laughing squid and boingboing, all of which do these things every now and then but not all the time.
Thanks for your input!

If I had never seen the internet before, where would you direct me in 2011? What are the best news, film, music, art, fashion, history, technology, gossip, sports websites and blogs out there?

Help me find this site: it is a popular(?) blog with complete chronological integration with the author's twitter account and other social networks. The author MAY be some sort of PR guru or something. I remember so little about the site that googling proves to be unsuccessful.

Also, I read that it was possible to move my blogspot entries to my new blog, can anyone guide me through this process or can anyone refer me to a site that does? TIA!

Art blogs... I teach high school art/technology classes and I am looking for blogs that have to do with art. Specifically elementary thru college student artwork. But other school appropriate art blogs will work.

What is a Blog? Does anyone have any links to decent, well written explanations, explaining the phenomenon of Blogging? It needs to be as non-techy as possible and preferably from a mainstream, well regarded source.
My enthusiasm for the technology doesn't seem to be translating into understanding with my marketings bods ;o)
