I'm going to start a site to petition a board to keep a local public official in office. I want the site to include facts about why he should stick around and links (obviously) this stuff can be done easily with Wordpress (as we learned yesterday), i'm guessing. But i also want to incorporate a petition that can keep some information private (like e-mail addresses) but make other information public (neighborhood, city, state). Domain mapping to a TypePad blog. For the past 10 days, I have desperately been trying to map a domain name to my TypePad blog. Every solution offered to me by either TypePad or my registrar seems to undo something else. I am trying to: have the domain mapped seamlessly (masked, I believe it's called), but also for the Permalinks (unique urls) to work. I am in over my head! [more inside]

So I've finally switched isps, and have moved my blog to the new address...Is there any easy way to let everyone who has me on their bookmark list know? I don't know who or how many have me linked, for the most part. (Google shows my message about moving as the first link for "amberglow" so maybe i should just let everyone find me? The old blog url is dead already.) I'd been using sitemeter and can email each referrer individually but that's a pain, and won't catch everyone. Any suggestions?
