What should I name a blog about question-asking?

I'm starting a blog about question-asking (including Q&A sites, library reference, etc) and I need a good name for it. I was thinking of some kind of wordplay involving hives/bees/honey/pollen because I love bees, and because "hive mind" is kind of related. Obvious names like "hivebuzz" or "infobuzz" or "hivetalk" are a little too obvious for my tastes (and are also already taken, so it could just be sour grapes). Any ideas? Non-bee suggestions are also welcome!

Self-help but I need your help - what should I name my blog?

Help me name my blog! I'm in the process of turning my life around and changing some really unhelpful mental habits and would like to start a blog basically about the things I'm learning and trying towards enjoying and living life more fully, feeling good in my own skin and having a positive attitude etc, hopefully to a) keep me motivated and on track with this and give me a place to record the journey and b) hopefully maybe give other people some ideas/inspiration. I'm thinking along the lines of each entry being about a little concept or something I've been thinking about or an idea I'm trying, maybe a question, rather than a "dear diary" overly personal to myself style.

I'd like something positive and catchy and easy to match with visual images, so I was thinking of something like "making life sweet" but less cheesy, but am open to any suggestions (on any theme) at all as long as you don't mind if I ultimately end up using your idea :)

Wherein Whelk Wants Wonderful Words

Name My Blog! After years of creating things and then casually tossing them aside, I've decided to create a blog to put them all in. Cartoons, short fiction, audio clips, short video, etc. A bit like Lore's Bad Gods. The only problem is, I've got no idea what to call it. I'm torn between something direct like "John Did That" or something that just sounds cool, "Automatic Inspiration" was a leading contender for a while. Want to avoid anything suggesting random, junk, or trash (Even though that's what it is, the whole theme is overused). Shower me with your minds, Mefites!

Name my Health Blog!

hey all! So I really want to start a blog about the subjects I'm most passionate: eating and exercising. I need help naming it!
(more inside!) I'm full of contradictions; meaning that while I eat healthy and LOVE to cook, I will not turn down that piece of perfectly fried chicken, either. I can be lazy and have a couch potato movie night, but the next morning I'm sweatin it out at the park or in my pilates class.
To me, it's all about balance. People are not perfect (and why would we want to be?) and I'm tired of reading blogs from hardbodies who never falter from eating their one huge salad a day.
I eat well, live well, stay healthy, and I want to talk to people about doing the same!
Sooo...without sounding too "new age" or cheesy, what should my blog's name be?
Thanks in advance for your ideas!

Brainstorm a blog name for me

Help me name my blog. I am a cog in the software division of "a large technology company."

Starting a new blog, intended to empower people to get their company to adopt a certain combination of our software products which (we argue) enhances productivity and foster innovation and which brings the world of Web 2.0 to business.

The blog isn't about the software, rather, how to convince others. The intended reader (typically called an evangelist) is likely already "sold" on our wares, but needs to convince others that (A) social software has benefits and is ready for the needs of a business and (B) of course the stuff from my "large technology company" is the best.

Software capabilities include web conferences, instant messaging, team collaboration, document libraries, blogs, wikis, user profiles, shared calendars, communities, and other shit along those lines.

Despite its google appeal, "TheLotusEvangelist," although extremely descriptive is too boring and already used elsewhere.

The name I'm after would be catchy, easy to remember, embody the idea of evangelism (while avoiding any religious implications) and sounds sort of cool and "Web 2.0ish." The readers of the blog (like its author) are closer to age 50 than 30, and consequently desperate to convince people they are still cool and relevant. As such they might get the joke of a name that plays off of something like "brb" but might now know what a meme is. They are technically literate, but likely belong to the email generation vs. the text message generation.

Extra points for alliteration, rhyming, and I love the word "misoneism." And, of course, cool if the name is unique enough that I have a reasonable shot at the domain name. Extra points as well for slight irreverence, but I do have to get the name by some bigshots, so it can't be unbelievably smartass.

other themes
yellow
blue
adoption
driving adoption
encouraging
being the flag waver
let me help you help them
fostering innovation
I'm so smart
social software, web 2.0, collaboration 2.0
leader (not as in we make the leading software thing, rather as in leading the way to web 2.0 nirvana)

disclaimer: the ideas and opinions will be ostensibly mine, but no question that I am undertaking this blog on behalf of my employer, the aforementioned "large technology company."

"blogism" is out

Help me think of ways to think of a name for my new blog! I have a long-running blog on a specific topic that I'm about to abandon for a new blog that's going to focus on more general media and cultural criticism, but I can't think of a name! I'm not so much looking for someone to come up with a name as to suggest ways of going about thinking of one, or to clue me in to naming trends that I may not realize are cliches. Here's what I've decided so far:

The ist/ism school of blog naming is played out.

I like titles that are phrases or sentences.

I have a weakness for made up/compound words (I liked "quantrarian" before I found out it was the name of a company) but I realize that they can sound pretentious and be hard to remember.

Name my game development blog

I'm going to be launching/relaunching a blog focused on the game development industry. I'm all set to go, but I need a name! Anyone have suggestions for names, or just general help on creating a name for a blog that is memorable, descriptive, and not lame? I have a blog that I haven't updated in a year that called JZigishness. That's a horrible name, and it's got a lame, narcissistic url. I want to make another stab at the whole blogosphere thing, hence my need for a slightly less crappy name. I'm mostly going to be talking about insider-but-not-fireable stuff about the industry, as well as game design and game culture stuff (with a focus on MMO's, because of where I work). I'm probably going to be hosting it at typepad (I'm lazy), and I'll go pay $30 for a url, so this question is about the branding/marketing as opposed to any technical stuff. Also I'm not famous at all, so I can't just pull a Raph Koster and put my real name in my blog title.

Bored? Help name my blog.

Bored? Help name my blog. I've run several blogs in the past, but this new venture aims to be something of a more serious and more, hopefully, long-term venture. The impetus for this project is my frustration with the dumbing down of politics, media, and culture and the lack of focus in all three spheres on actually bettering the human condition. It will be based in Canada, but not deal exclusively with Canadian subject matter. It may share some of the same themes as a blog like Crooks and Liars, but not be exclusively political or focused on current events. It will explore the dysfunction in... well, everything and eventually search for solutions. It may, after some time, serve as a tool to inspire a movement.

It would also help if the domain name was available, at least in the '.ca' domain. I'm interested to see what you all come up with.

Brain way beyond racked. Need suggestions for a title for my new blog.

Shamelessly begging for your creative title ideas. I'm starting a new personal blog and have no clue what to call it. My mind is completely exhausted. I have been trying to think of a name for my new blog for months, literally. I've searched for ideas in every place possible but I am still coming up blank. The blog itself will be mostly of a personal nature, but will also include some fun, informational, and hopefully interesting stuff. Mainly for my own pleasure but I do want to attract regular readers. Through this process I have discovered how complex and unique I really am, so having a title that reflects my personality seems close to impossible. I have many varied interests, yet I yearn to simplify. I'm married, with no children yet. I'm a happy, traditional, creative person. I love reading, comfort, colors, music, thunderstorms, learning, autumn, history, and laughing.

I'm hoping some of you will be kind enough to just throw out some suggestions or advice that might spark a thought or two for me regarding the title of my new blog. I want it to be spellable and not too long, and broad enough to encompass an assortment of topics. Oh, and I don't want the words "life" or "blog" in it. Other than that, at this point, I'm open to just about anything.

Lavish gratitude in advance to all of you!

I need a killer blog title

Either I lose 20 lbs by December 10, or lose $150. That's the agreement I made with 2 friends and my daughter. And it's in writing. So I figure I'm going to pull out my bag o' diet tricks and document everything along the way - but I need a catchy title for my blog. I'm not going to register a domain name btw, I just need a kick-butt headline.

Name the new blog!

Can you help me come up witha witty name for a celebrity fashion blog? Here's the background: this is a project for a movie website. The blog will be pretty petty, each post featuring a photo of a movie star on the red carpet with some snarky commentary. Think Go Fug Yourself, Fashion Police, Entertainment Weekly style, etc. I need help with blog name, and am depressing myself with my lack of wit. The only thing I could think of was "Red Carpet Scarification," and that's a little, uh, wrong. Any clever name ideas? Bonus points for dirty double entendres.

There's a guy out there on the web that has chosen to name his blog after me, Armando Bellmas. Instead of feeling flattered, I feel used. As a photographer my name is my business name, too, and I can't have this guy moving in on my turf. I don't know him nor have I given him permission to use my name. Plus, his blog is coming up in the top ten search results for my name at Google. He has not replied to any of my email inquiries and, short of calling an attorney for advice, I'm turning to you guys and the web for help. Thanks in advance.

Domain name retention

My current host is closing down, and since I bought my domain through them it will be transferred into my name before they finally close at the end of the year. However, my domain expires on December 12, and they are so far unresponsive to my emails and have not transferred the domain (it has been two weeks since my initial request). I am worried that if I'm not able to renew it, it will be snapped up by a domain-sitter and I will lose it. In case it isn't transferred in time, is there a way I can beat the domain-sitters to it and reserve my domain? What are the more affordable options for doing this? Will I be guaranteed to get it?
