I have been using reblog to combine two feeds (for a blog and a forum) which I then publish through Feedburner. What I want to do is have the blog part of my feed update normally (i.e. individual posts) and the forum part of my feed compiled into a daily link list (which itself is published as if it were ONE feed post each day)... All about blogs. - I, like many others, began blogging on blogger... I find that I want to do more with my blog and I would like to move to a better service... I love Typepad but I do not want to pay for ithe service..... I have heard good things about Wordpress.... any other suggestions...??

Put forward to action by this catty thread but with different reasons and intentions, does anyone have recommendations for excellent Metafilter-like sites or even personal weblogs...in German? I have very high fluency in German, subscribe to a few of the default German weblogs in NetNewsWire lite, but blogging culture in the hunosphere (I kid, I kid) just doesn't seem to have much presence. Maybe because everyone can speak English? I'd like to keep up my German with one of my favorite time-wasters while living outside of a German-speaking country. Anyway, almost all input welcome!

So I've finally switched isps, and have moved my blog to the new address...Is there any easy way to let everyone who has me on their bookmark list know? I don't know who or how many have me linked, for the most part. (Google shows my message about moving as the first link for "amberglow" so maybe i should just let everyone find me? The old blog url is dead already.) I'd been using sitemeter and can email each referrer individually but that's a pain, and won't catch everyone. Any suggestions?
