At least mold won't grow...?

I just noticed what appeared to be a large water leak on the drywall of the ceiling. Upon further inspection, we discovered that somehow a large bottle of industrial strength bleach had leaked in the attic (please don't point out what a bad idea it is to store large bottles of industrial strength bleach in the attic... we had no idea it was up there and have never seen the bottle before tonight). What happens to bird feces when sanitized, but still physically present?

Ok probably sounds disgusting, but I just have a theoretical interest in this ever since I moved to my new apt with a balcony frequent by the flying rat kind. I don't have time in the morning but I frequently spray some bleach water solution on the pigeon feces to scrape off later, and then I was wondering what chemically happens to the feces (or well, anything organic that contains pathogens and bacteria) when soaked in bleach. Are the soaked feces on the railing theoretically "clean" and sanitized? What happens??? What is left over? I don't intend to leave them there, just curious. BTW: any tips to keep pigeons away while at it? We covered all the balcony railings in reflective tape. It looks like a camp, silver palace now, but they still like it.

Does bleach go bad?

Instead of buying spray disinfectant all the time. . . I usually just mix 1 teaspoon into a spray bottle with water and use that. My wife thinks it goes bad and loses it's disinfecting power. Does it?

Deyellow me some whites!

I have some white T-shirts (standard Fruit of the Loom/Hanes/shrink-wrapped supermarket cotton T's) that have gone yellow around the folds after being stored folded in a closet for too long. I'd like to bring them back to their original shade. Some I've actually never worn! The tools I have are a bucket, gloves, collar cleaner, and bleach. I'd like to rinse the bleach out before I put them in the machine. I've never done anything like pre-soaking or treating stains before. [more inside]
