Have you ever had shingles on your feet? I have extremely itchy, burning spots on the outside edges of both feet, little toes and ankles, and up my left calf. Could it be shingles?

Can you guess what's biting me?
I've been getting a few extremely itchy red bumps, very much like mosquito bites, but they are not mosquito bites because they follow the pattern that chigger bites do: they're not on exposed parts of my skin, but instead under my clothing. It seems that something small is leaping onto me and then crawling until it finds itself confined by clothing, then settling down to bite. The bites aren't like chigger bites, though.

Last weekend in New York State, I got about 200 insect (ie, mosquito or fly? I don't know) bites on the same night. It's been 9 days and they're still bothering me- in fact, they're getting worse. What to do?

The other day, I developed 3 itchy red marks (they look like bug bites) on my elbow. They're in a triangle formation, and everything I look up online indicates that they could be bed bugs. However, I got them while I was sitting at my desk at work, 6 hours after I'd left my house, and wearing a long-sleeved shirt. Is there anything else that would cause marks like these?

We've had a sudden attack of fleas on our pets. That's been dealt with (with liberal doses of Frontline), but it's left me with a huge number of flea bites on my legs. Any suggestions for calming and healing them?

If a teenager is bitten by an armadillo and the skin is broken, shouldn't the animal be trapped to make sure it isn't rabid, or the teen be innoculated?

I very stupidly fell asleep on the beach and woke up with an enormous number of unusual bug bites. 24 hours and a whole tube of cortizone cream later they're still here. What kind of bug did I likely encounter, and should I be worrying about this?

I moved to san francisco two months ago and have been bitten by some type of insect about 40 times since then. the favorite spot appears to be my left arm with 17 bites scattered from my hand to my shoulder. i never feel myself being bitten, the bites are very small and they itch unlike anything i've ever experienced. i have not had this reaction to mosquitos before, and usually feel them as they bite me and see them. does anyone have any idea of what could be biting me and any natural remedies for itching and/or insect repellent for the body?

It's that time again: summer, and the bugs are out in full-force. Common insect bites and stings, while not life-threatening, can be irritating and uncomfortable. And scratching often leads to infection. What's the best way to soothe mosquito bites?
