Can you guess what's biting me?
I've been getting a few extremely itchy red bumps, very much like mosquito bites, but they are not mosquito bites because they follow the pattern that chigger bites do: they're not on exposed parts of my skin, but instead under my clothing. It seems that something small is leaping onto me and then crawling until it finds itself confined by clothing, then settling down to bite. The bites aren't like chigger bites, though.

My dad tells this story about a very, very weird "spider bite" he got as a kid, but it doesn't sound like any spider bite -- ever. What could this have been? Alien implant? Ringworm? Disgusting details inside.

I've had two weird similar incidents that appear to be
bug bites/stings. I have lived in Minnesota all my life, including in the far northern rural area, and never had anything like these. You are not my doctor, but maybe you've had similar issues and have an idea of what is biting/stinging me?

I'm guessing this one is unusual, and maybe only answered by an advanced dental pro, but here goes: I have an under-bite, in that my front-most lower teeth actually make contact with the roof of my mouth. I tend to grind my teeth at night and so end up with a sore spot just behind my front upper teeth. I've gone to a orthodontist/dentist and he created a bite plate for me but I hate to use it. It tastes like plastic and feels bulky and uncomfortable in my mouth. Is there another way to fix this problem?

I love my new kitty, Agent Cooper, beyond all reason. He's 1 year old and was a stray, and he's been living with me for a month now. The problem is, he's a biter. I'm pretty sure it's an OH MY GOD I LOVE YOU SO MUCH, CHOMP! kind of bite, but I want to be sure I am reading, and handling, his behavior correctly.

dentist filter: I have a tooth (upper right molar, second to the last one) that occasionally have a dull pain when I bite on it. It usually happens when I am tired, i.e. when I am sleep deprived. I had a dental cleaning/checkup on Jan. 13, and the dentist didn't say anything. I am out of the country now and have no access to any dentist, and I am really worried.

InsectBiteFilter. Help! Last Sunday in Phoenix, Arizona I was chilling outside and then some insect stung/bit/injected my neck. It was not a bee/wasp/spider/ant. It was a tannish brown color and I think it had transparent green wings but I can't recall for sure. It was about half an inch long. I tried to just forget about it but each day the sting gets more painful. I just hope there's no brood in my neck. Anyone know what kind of critter this could be? And, yes, I know I should go to the doctor but I wanted some hive-mind reassurance that I'll be fine. Thank you so much! Dang bugs.
