I'm going on an overnight bike ride tonight, and I think I'm fine with all my supplies except for routing. I've got a handlebar mount for my phone, but I need a mapping app which I can use overnight which won't affect my night vision, and will save energy. Is there an Android app which I can import a .GPX file into and which can follow my progress and make sure I don't miss any turns on a minimal grey on black street map? I'm in the UK and all the route will be on Open Street Map.

I'm in the UK, near Bath. I just saw someone on a bicycle I really want. Silver frame, canti brakes, racer / tourer style. Brand name was approx 11 letters long and I'm pretty sure it began with 'van'. Any ideas anyone? Thanks in advance!

So, I've cycled to work. And I really want to do it again. The problem is, I feel like my saddle and I have been rather
too intimate...

Is there a good program to follow to build endurance and cardiovascular fitness on a road bike? I have read previous questions (
this seeming the most relevant), but was hoping to find something that was highly structured like the
couch to 5K program for runners. How do I do a couch to 100k? I have a nice new road bike and time over the summer.

I'm looking for a folding bicycle trailer. That's a trailer that folds up and connects to a bicycle (though it coincidentally will be connected to a folding bicycle, so I guess it's a folding bicycle folding trailer). Anyway, the main thing is that it needs to fold up
really small. Please point me to the smallest, when folded, bicycle trailer you know about. Thanks.

We're planning on biking across Europe. We're planning on doing it a year from now. What are we forgetting? What did you encounter in a similar trip that we might be unprepared for? Any general advice?
