I am thinking of organizing a "two-dollar dare" party and I need simple dares that can be performed in front of a lot of people, and achievable right there. Props are fine, as is the use of another person. So far, I have things like, picking your nose, licking someone else's foot, peeing in a pair of adult-diapers, letting someone slap you hard, letting someone give you a haircut, simulating an orgasm. The idea is that if the people at the party want to see it, they can up the "bid" to a double-dare ($4) or a triple-dog-dare ($6) so I am looking for a good selection of tame dares and rather more outrageous ones. Can the hive mind help me?

I think we might have found "THE" house for my mother to retire in. She has spent her whole life living my father's life and for us "kids". Never came close to enjoying any of the things that interest her. So she wants her home in the country in upstate NY. DH and I have been dedicating weekly trips upstate to help her find this home. We've recently decided to check out Chengango County. Based on pictures, this house looks and sounds great. We're not worried about cosmetic work and will naturally look into the structure of the home and land. Is there anything else I should look for? [more inside]

Every once in a while, when clicking on an item up for auction at eBay, I get a page with generic message saying "Unfortunately, access to this particular category or item has been blocked due to legal restrictions in your home country..." and cannot see the item. But I'm in the US using a US IP address; why would there be a legal restriction? Going by the most recent incident, from what little I could see of the item's information--basically, the title--it didn't seem to be anything remotely offensive or illegal. Why and how does eBay block certain auctions from certain countries or IP addresses? Is the US one of those countries? How can I view these items? I don't even necessarily want to bid on them, but my curiosity is piqued.
