As part of my dissertation, I want to look at the research output of a small research center. I'd like to do some bibliometric analysis but am not sure where to start. Where can I look for tools and techniques? In particular, I'm interested in tools that help me wrangle their Endnote database into something easy to analyse.

I'm writing the bibliography for my dissertation which is about the animation studio UPA. I need to cite a lot of theatrical cartoons from the 1950s, which I watched on youtube.
This Site give intructions for citing youtube videos, but it seems like its referring to original youtube vids, not existing films. It says to list the username of the contributor as the author, and it feels wrong to credit a John Hubley cartoon to "liquidnature13". Do I need to give the cartoon's director, year of release, and studio, as well as the contributer's username and the year it was uploaded? If so, how should I format it?
(I'm using the Harvard system)

Software recommendation filter (Windows): I think it's called "reference management software". We're a research collaboration, need to organize existing background reading documents (academic papers, company reports, etc) so 3-5 people can read, comment on their relevance to the project, and do searches to find the useful papers again later. No need for content editing, check-in/check-out, versioning, etc. these are all final-version documents. Boss made a recomendation; I'm looking for a second opinion before I agree.
