We'd like to be better at working with older adults.

I work in a research lab that is transitioning from working with young adult populations to working with 60 year old and up adults. Most people in the lab who don't have experience with older adults (myself included) are finding the transition frustrating and difficult at times. Can you recommend some resources to help us work better with older adults? [more inside]

Therapist reccomendation in metro Chicago

Can someone please suggest a cognitive behavioral therapist in Chicago that they have found to be helpful? I tried talk therapy once with a non CBT person and found it cliched and unhelpful, but I suspect I really should go seek assistance. I have the usual bento box of depression and anxiety, male 30s/40s. Unemployed (not the source of depression anxiety, but certainly not helping), so bonus for sliding scale. Bonus for Oak Park/River Forest/ Forest Park.

Seeking good CBT therapist in/near Boston

Hi All, I'm looking for a CBT (cognitive behavioral) therapist in Boston. I'm interested in talking about relationships, my goals, my career, etc. I have a history of dysthymia/mild depression. My insurance is Harvard Pilgrim HMO. I'm open to other varieties of therapy around the CBT vein, dialectical behavioral therapy or whatever, as long as the person is good. If you have a suggestion of someone who doesn't take Harvard Pilgrim, or you don't know, please list them anyway. Thanks!

Recommedations for CBT therapists in Austin?

I have a friend who suffers from anxiety and panic disorder. She currently sees a therapist, but is interested in a more structured approach. Does anyone have a recommendation for a female therapist in Austin, TX who specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy? I would also be interested in getting recommendations for brief inpatient programs.
