I have never had many close friends or intimate relationships, and i know that other people find my behaviour off-putting. But due to politeness, nobody will tell me! What profession's job is to just plain tell me what's not ok with my basic behaviour (eg voice volume, personal space) so i can stop pushing everyone away without meaning to? Thanks!

I've been racking my brain trying to figure out if there is a specific word or term that defines the following behavior: when someone says "
I know you don't/said (x) but ..." For example:
"I know you said you don't drink coffee, but this one is really good and you should drink it" or
"I know you said you're really busy with your job and new baby but I would really like you to take the time to email me and tell me what's new with you." I'm not looking for words or phrases that ambiguously describe how this behavior makes an individual feel (e.g. "annoying") but rather something that would be used as a clinical definition to refer to this particular behavior (e.g. "passive-aggressive," "gaslighting," etc.)

I watch a 10-year-old girl whose behavior is very strange and I'd like to get to the bottom of it. She's a family member, and no one seems to take me very seriously when I mention her oddities. I spend ~20 hours with her weekly, and the more time I spend with her, the more concerned I am. Many details inside.

My 16 month old son throws his cup or his food when he no longer wants it. Not emotional, not a tantrum, definitely willful. The boy looks us straight in the eye and throws. He doesn't seem to respond to a harsh "No!" or the more empathetic, gentle "we set our cup down nicely" approach. I am assuming this is pretty standard kid behavior, but is there anyway to curtail this behavior in a kind, constructive and effective manner? He is pretty happy, easy going little guy, right now.

I work at an animal shelter and someone gave us white doves. There's a mom, dad, and son. Originally the son was very young and his feathers weren't grown in, so we kept them together. Now he is a young adult and both he & his dad are doing the "bow & coo" aggressive stance at each other. Should I separate him from his parents? I know doves shouldn't be alone, but they are getting territorial at this point, so what should we do?

Adopted cat doesn't seem to be warming up to us. We've had her for about 7 months now. She doesn't like to be petted or touched and often bites very hard if Mr. Stardust or I have to do so. Can we get her used to being touched, or should we leave her alone? Further details within.

I'd like to add a kitten to the family. However, I have a
toy fox terrier which makes this difficult. Every cat I've had in the past would eventually begin stalking the dog, pawing him on his hindquarters and biting his neck. The dog would cower 24/7 and I ultimately needed to keep them in separate areas of the house, at all times, to protect him.
I've tried various methods to prevent this, but since the last time I've owned a cat was over five years ago I'm open to re-trying anything.
