I have lived here for almost all of my adult life and don't know this-- What is the best package store in the Boston area for beer? I want something like Beers of the World outside Rochester, NY and I can't find it: beers from all over the world, and regional beers from the US. I know of some decent places, but nothing that makes me feel like I have just entered Mecca. Lets try to keep it in the 495 Loop, but I will drive further than that if the place sounds really fantastic. Baseball season is here and summer is coming so I am looking forward to some nice beer.

Where can I find a digital copy of this beer commercial: It starts out with our protagonist (I think it's Joey Slotnick) walking, and a voiceover -- "You're at a party. You've got a cold beer, and a brand new shirt. You're . . . a tiger." Then, he takes a sip of the beer and his face shrivels up, and a couple of girls cringe. "Whoa! Bitter Beer Face!" Then, that's solved by drinking Keystone Light, and then the scene switches to noir; he's in a white tux with his hair slicked back, both of the girls on his arms, and he says in a David Niven accent, "Pack your bags -- we sail TONIGHT!"

I'm not much of a beer drinker, but I found out (when visiting family in Philly) that I really like Yuengling. However, I live in Portland, OR, where there is no Yuengling in sight and my beer drinking friends have never even heard of it. Based on this preference, what other beers (esp. those common to the northwest) would I enjoy?

How can a willing to learn non-programmer build something like those user-supported gas price sites?
I'm looking to build a site that allows its users to submit and/or search pricing and availability information for "widgets" at local brick and mortar retail stores. The model I have in mind would be similar to the user-supported gas price sites that popped up about a year ago, in which people entered what they paid for what type of gas, and other users then could type in a zip code and see the best prices near them. So, being a non-programmer (but willing to learn through trial and error), what language/framework/open-source code do I use to build this? [more inside]

I seem to remember hearing about a brewery in a European city using old utility pipes to deliver beer directly into peoples' houses. Did I make that up? A friend thinks so, and I agree: it sounds too good to be true. Has anybody else heard this?
What can I do with a lot of beer, besides drinking it? [more inside]
I would like to start my own Microbrewery, brewing open source beer. I would like to build the business around the community. Birmingham, Alabama does not have its own microbrew, and I'm sure there is a lot of legislation that prevents this. Bringing tasty suds to the public, and fighting the good fight sounds like a glorious occupation. But I'm starting small; just brewing my own beer at home, dreaming about the future and looking for a name.
I am plagued by painful beershits and a complete loss of appetite (sometimes days) after a night of drinking. Any ideas other than curbing my acoholism?
We're in Berlin at the end of next week, and wouldn't mind going to somewhere that has a range of German beers, rather than the typical bars which will serve you just Lowenbrau or, y'know, Bitburger. So, the equivalent of a decent beer hall, which serves more beer. And good 'pub' food, German-style. Any ideas where?

I've recently become interested in brewing beer and stuff, and I have to wonder - How the hell do they make Bia Hoi? It's an incredibly cheap, evidently preservative-free beer that they make in Vietnam and is generally drank the day it's released. Is it just hastily made lager like anything else? I'm basically just intrigued by the concept of making cheap, easy beer that tastes okay to pretty good.
