I once had a pint glass that a roommate left behind when moving out. It was a regular 16-oz pint glass, with a drawing of a beaver and the tagline "Where Beavers Go to Eat and Drink." I don't have the glass anymore, but I would like to find it for sale somewhere. Except I can't remember enough about it to search for it, other than that tagline! Do you recognize the tagline? Some time in the last 12 months, I watched a BBC programme in which the presenters visited an event held outside a pub somewhere in England. According to my vague recollection, the point was to fish a rag out of a bucket of beer using the end of a broomstick, and then fling said beery rag at bystanders. I had thought that the programme in question was Oz and James Drink to Britain, and that this had taken place in Lewes, East Sussex, but even with variations on those things as search terms I can find no reference to this online. Has anyone heard of this? What is it called? Where and when does it take place?
