I'm looking to buy some new sheets, and I'm getting the impression that thread count is a one-dimensional measure of goodness, like clock speeds for CPUs. What do you look for in bed sheets to figure out how comfy they are? Is 100% cotton the way to go, or will a blend be easier to look after? No brand name testimonials please.
