I am looking for a new bed, and am interested in
this one from West Elm. I've been reading horrible reviews of West Elm beds, and I'm wondering if people have similar experience or better recommendations.

Our bedframe is broken beyond repair. Perhaps this would be a good time to get a bed that is larger than a full. Our budget is Ikea level—so I have two questions: 1) Will their queen size beds comfortably support our combined weight of 500-550 lbs? 2) Are there any Ikea beds or mattresses that you particularly like?

Help me find the right platform bed frame! I want something cheap and of reasonable quality, for a queen-sized mattress. This shouldn't be this hard, but BED SHOPPING IS OVERWHELMING! Please help.

I'm looking for a very sturdy bed frame to replace one that recently broke while in use. I REALLY do not want this to happen again, so I need suggestions for a VERY sturdy, quiet bed for less than $500.

Do you like your Dalselv bedframe from Ikea? Does it wobble or is it very stable? Did you finish/paint it, or did you leave it bare?

Moving, got new queen bed. I have a metal frame on wheels, but find the idea of rolling my bed around the room retarded. How do I make my bed stay put like the piece of furniture its supposed to be without spending the $$ for a wooden platform bed?

Hey, look at this
awesome bed. I want one, but sadly they cost a million euros each. Approximately. So: the pdf brochure on the site basically has enough information to build the bed yourself - it's just a simple wood frame and a couple cushions. How much would it cost to have someone built that for me, and who would I ask? I live in LA, if it matters.
