I'm asking for a BB gun this Winter Holiday, as a way to ease into learning to shoot. Since I'll be shooting on my land, I'm curious about the ecological implications of BBs hanging around. [more inside]

If I shoot a squirrel with my BB gun will it just sting the little birdseed thief or will it injure it? Assuming, of course, that I am not hitting it in the eyes.
