My roommate and I long ago decided that we would not flush pee. Save water and all. The only problem is this: apparently if you let urine sit in the toilet, it turns into a really attractive layer of brown sediment, in a spot that is very difficult to clean with a toilet brush . . . r

Our bathroom has a
GFCI combo switch/socket where the switch is hooked up to the bathroom fan/light. It's wired downstream of another switch controlling the vanity fixture, and set up so that the socket is only hot when the switch is on. This makes it suboptimal for, say, charging an electric razor or toothbrush overnight, because that means leaving the fan on. What's the best way to change this?

We're re-doing our old (master) bathroom. It's small-ish, not that that's here nor there. This weekend we need to pick out tile for the bath, light fixtures, vanity, and paint for the walls and ceiling. I have some design skills but am finding myself bereft of inspiration. Any good sites out there focusing on cool interior (esp. bathroom) design?

Is there a place where I can see many bathroom vanities on display? I need to buy a bathroom vanity and it is something I need to see in real life not just on a website as color and quality can look different up close. Places like Home Depot and Lowes only display a few and a search for "bathroom showroom" found contractor/decorator storefronts where the main purpose is to sell $20,000 bathroom makeovers rather than to display products. Are these things people typically buy mail order without having seen them or am I looking in the wrong place?

Is there a legitimate, non-slang word for the need to go to the bathroom? By that I mean a singular adjective, i.e. "nauseous," but for, well, pooping. Attempts to Google yield only annoying links to Urban Dictionary, etc.

PlumbingFilter: My google-fu is failing me and need help finding directions on fixing our bathroom sink faucet. It only leaks when it's turned on and not from around the handles.
Most of the internet directions are for fixing faucets that drip all the time or stopping a leak around the fixture handles when it's turned on. Maybe my problem is like one of these two, but the symptoms are completely different and I'm not a plumber.

Hello. A weird one: In my bathroom there's some mold. I clean it up once a while, but it's kinda there. Anyway, from time to time I can see some bugs running through it. Little bugs, coming out where there's running water, and disappearing, once the water's out. They're *tiny*. Real tiny. Smaller than an ant.
Anyone has any idea what I'm talking about? Can anyone direct me to any information regarding these bugs?
Thank you!
