We are in the middle of buying a house that has no bathtub - just a shower. I have two smallish children. Give me some bathing solutions, please! [more inside]
I have a huge 100+ gallon tub with jets and such. What are some fun things I can add to my bath time to make it more enjoyable? I already do bubblebath and salts, and have a few floating toys and a water pipe (pan pipes you can play in the tub).. For various reasons I spend hours in there at a time. Generally I read beater books or watch Netflix on my otherwise decommissioned iPhone 4. Assume I am bathing alone and am not afraid of anything
You know those mats you put on the floor of the bath tub so you don't slip? Bought one and it's slipped once or twice. So is there a particular brand of these mats that you've bought and it has never, ever once slipped, say for years? The wife needs one that we can pretty much guarantee will never, ever slip. I'm not looking for "Oh just go buy one," but "We bought this specific mat x years ago and it's worked like a champ, through all sorts of soapy water, buy this one." Alternative suggestions for preventing slippage in the bathtub while showering are fine.

Hey! I filled that bathtub for a reason - so why is it draining without my permission? [more inside]
So I've read the previous questions on bath tub refinishing, the most recent of which, according to what I found, was two years ago. We have a fiberglass tub/enclosure that was put in when the house was framed 24 years ago. It's showing its age. [more inside]
