Inspired by a recent FPP, I went to iTunes to buy Charles Mingus' Ah Um. I found the standard 12-track album (9 original, 3 new) for $9.99, a $16.99 50th Anniversary Edition (24 tracks), a $4.99 album (9 original tracks), and also for $4.99, Charles Mingus Complete Recordings: 1957 - 1960, a 9-album, 68-song collection including the 9 original Ah Um tracks. Being
no dummy cheap, I got the latter, and am now wondering if there are any other festivals of musical bargains which may be lurking on the iTunes, and have some other questions about how to tell a good compilation from bad, and the differences in editions and releases of the same albums. [more inside]
I am furnishing a small studio apartment. I live two blocks away from a Restoration Hardware showroom. I like this $129 chair there. Restoration Hardware will not sell me a floor sample and they will not ship to store. The fixed home delivery charge is $125 whether you're buying 8 chairs or just one. I just need one. Find me a suitable replacement that will cost less than $250 all told. [more inside]

What's the current best bargain aggregation site on the net, especially for geeky/gadgety stuff? I used to be a big fan of Ben's Bargains, but that seems to have gone downhill, and, while Woot and Groupon and such are fun, they don't include deals from other places. Where should I go for serious shopping (and impulse buys)?

Best bet for a deal on HTC Thunderbolt? It can be refurbished or lightly used. I lost my Droid Incredible (or it was stolen). Contract not due until late 2012. Don't need an additional line. Besides eBay or Craigslist any suggestions or warnings? I don't want to overpay or get scammed. Thanks in advance. [more inside]

There's a website I saw once that shows a celebrity's outfit and then lists places where you can bargain alternatives to every part of the outfit. I bookmark every website I find obsessively, but, of course, not this one and now I want to upgrade my wardrobe for 2009. Does anyone know the website I mean?
