Seeking an NYC bar for a gathering of around eight people in their mid-to-late 30s. Requirements: quiet enough to talk; spacious enough that we can all congregate in one spot or will take reservations; in downtown Manhattan (roughly speaking); reasonably accessible by subway a big plus. Difficulty: event planned for a Saturday night, around 8 PM, and I don't expect everyone to show up at the same time (which makes reservations tricky). Thanks!
I could use some input on how I can pull off the bachelorette party I have envisioned, in New York City, in late May of this year. Keywords: fun (not raunchy), slumber party, karaoke, good food, overnight. [more inside]
NYC: Low-key non-dive downtown Friday night bar? [more inside]
Wife and I are looking for a sports bar near Union Station / Chelsea that will be showing the most NFL games this Sunday so we can get our Steelers fix.
NYC filter: Looking for a bar on the Upper East Side (preferably east 80s/90s) which can accomodate a group of ~50-70. My high school class is having its 15th reunion, which will start off at our school and then progress to an after-party at a bar at around 9/9:30pm on a Friday in June. So a private room would work, as would a bigger bar which could simply accomodate a mass influx. Anything from divey to schmancy is a possibility. Thanks!

I'm getting a group together on Friday night to go out for my birthday in NYC. But I'm having trouble figuring out where to go. I have a dream idea in my head. Help me figure out if it actually exists. [more inside]
I want to go to a bar in NYC that has a mechanical bull. Is there such a place?
