Subprimes still lending?? I thought that the subprime loan market was out of business. Why am I getting multiple calls from Household Finance claiming that they have "new programs" trying to lend me money I don't need? ps I don't have a loan with Household Finance. Five years ago almost to the day, American Express decided to no longer cover credit card transactions from p9rn sites, claiming that business with such sites carried unacceptably high incidence of disputes about transactions.. Other credit card companies decided not to, ahem, pull out. Today, the AmEx decision still stands. After five years, can we say that American Express got... stiffed? Or were they right in the first place and the other companies got... screwed?

UK Credit Filter - We have bad credit, and now our bank have decided that they want to close my accounts. So in order to be paid, and pay bills...I have to find a new current account. My wife and I know that we can fix our problems with money (and have been doing well for 3 months) - but we cannot seem to find a bank that will open a current account for us.

So for UK askMe people - do you know of a current account that will AT LEAST give us the benefit of the doubt?
