I am going to Ireland for 8 days in August with my mom, aunt and cousins. I'm looking at the average weather and panicking a little about what to pack/bring/carry. I specifically need a good backpack for a camera, and some decent looking shoes. Can you help?

i am looking for a case for my new camera (
canon rebel xs). i would like it to fit the camera with the kit lens and maybe have some extra room for a wallet. it doesn't necessarily have to be a camera case, but something that would fit and pad my camera and protect it from rain. thanks!
thank you!

I need a new camera bag. I am looking for esoteric brands, beyond Domke or Lowepro. Can the hive point me in many different directions?

I've made a new fabric product that I hope would sell 5000+ units. For viable efficiency I need to buy manufacturing of the product or its parts. I don't want to reveal my product idea, but let's use a SLR camera bag made in sturdy fabric as an example. My product has similar materials, size and complexity. How do I go from there?

BagFilter: Looking for a camera bag for my DSLR that will also hold my smallish (13.3-inch) laptop if I need it to. Really, really prefer a messenger bag style. Also, I'm a guy.

What type of all-in-one bag would you use to fly (economy across the country) with Nikon D-80 + MacBook Pro 15" (or equivalent equipment) that is comfortable, easy to store for flight, and functional?

I've moved from a small just-about pocket-sized digital camera to something
a bit bigger (though not DSLR sized) that certainly isn't pocket-sized. But I have really liked the portability of the point-and-shoot... so what have the MeFi camera crowd found to be the best ways to carry around a chunky piece of kit with the least amount of bother and attention? It's just the camera I want to take around - no extra lenses or accessories.
