How do I fix a nylon backpack zipper? The zipper parts seem fine -- the zipper "pull" has just popped out of one side. This isn't like a jacket, where there is a way to completely separate the two sides, with a metal tab to aid in joining them.

How to carry stuff hands-free without a style disaster: What is the most stylishly understated (dressy, even) backpack bag for an urban guy in his 30s, long past the schoolboy days? Is it a lost cause? Am I only deserving of fashion-police arrest? Style Mission Impossible: If a backpack seller did product-placement in The Matrix, and you were the designer entrusted to make it not terrible, what would you do? Are there re-imagined backpacks out there, like say, straps with a cut reminiscent of an open vest? Any alternatives as practical, yet (unlike laptop satchels) not equally dorky? There is also

I'm looking for a web-based to-do-list manager, along the lines of 37Signals' Backpack, that allows its users to have a to-do task recur a certain amount of time after it's been checked off.

Are there any web based calendars/task management programs that will sync with Outlook or straight to my Pocket PC? I got Sunbird syncing but after using it a while I switched back to Outlook, but I really like the idea of using something like Google Calendar, Backpack or iCommit when I'm at work or at school. I’ve thought about an exchange server account somewhere, but all the places I looked seemed to be pretty pricy for a student budget. Any suggestions?

I'm looking for a web-based to-do application with a few very specific features, but, essentially, one that's almost a del.icio.us clone and is very much centralized not on categories, but on tags.

BackpackFilter: I'm looking for a specific type of backpack. Small profile (shouldn't stick out more than about 6in, holds between 1000-1600 cubic in). Clean design (doesn't have a million straps and buckles hanging off). Doesn't look
corporatey/consultantish. Rectangular is better than bulbous.

My wife and I are starting to plan our 1 month+ trip to Europe for this upcoming summer and I was wondering if anybody could recommend a comfortable, compact, relatively inexpensive backpack. We are going to be packing pretty light, as we will only have one bag each, and it needs to be small enough for carry-on luggage.
