I'm looking for a backpack that would carry a 13" MacBook Air. Difficulties: Needs to be rain-proof, stylish (I prefer leather or canvas finishes, with simple patterns), durable, comfortable, small, and light (I'm 5'2" on a good day). [more inside]
I'm looking for a bag that can be all (or most) of the following: laptop/messenger bag, airplane carry on, backpack, and diaper bag. My Google-fu is failing me, but I've come across the terms "travel bag" or "convertible". I like the look and durability of canvas bags or a similar type material. I'm not too big into leather, mainly because the good quality ones are mostly out of my price range (eg, Saddleback). I'd like to stay under $300, but can go higher for the right bag. [more inside]
How do I carry around all my stuff with grace and avoid looking stupid? I carry around a lot of stuff everyday, and it's extremely annoying. People are always commenting about how I have "so many bags" but I really am not sure how to streamline my stuff. [more inside]

Do you know of any backpacks similar to the Outlier Minimal backpack? Attributes in order of importance to me are are: 1) extreme light weight (the one from Outlier is paper-thin) 2) pocket-stuffable/foldable 3) sleek minimal modern anonymous look (like all of outlier's stuff)
I am looking for a messenger bag or backpack that will be good for bus/bike commuting in the rain, i.e. will keep my lunch, reading material, and spare clothing dry whilst I am getting soaked. I would also prefer it to be durable and green.
I desire a new bag. Something sturdy to carry my laptop* and books in. Something I can easily kart around on my bicycle (on my back, shoulder, or otherwise a flexible paneer). I'm based in London, UK. Budget floating around £100ish. Give me inspiration people! [more inside]
Look, I'm no genius, but it seems like you should be able to buy some sort of strap that can convert an existing messenger-style bag into one that can be worn more like a backpack. Right? [more inside]
