Damn you facebook. An acquaintance (at best) posted on facebook that he is glad Jimi, Curt, Hank, etc died young because they would have at some point started being old/fat/lazy/sell out, etc (Fade Away). I want to throw out a few names of people who not only kept making good music but who had a critically better musical period later in life.

How do I let people love me? Will I ever outgrow my fear of intimacy? I'm in my late 20s. I'm scared of intimacy. Don't get me wrong, I'm not scared of sex. Won't think twice about a threesome, but am startled by holding hands. Last year or so, I listened to a radio show on NPR that aired. The basic premise of the show (I think) was very similar to This American Life and was an eclectic mix of interviews of regular old folks, to talking about issues related to living life in general. One of the episodes dealt with two sisters who had run away and they told their story through a series of vignettes about their experiences. Another episode (I think) was an interview of siblings who are gay. The show was only about an hour long each week, but ended up being cancelled due to $$ issues (it's not News & Notes or Day to Day, I've already checked). I'm trying to figure out what the show was!! Any ideas? It was a very grassroots-ey type, low-budget, etc.

My doctor recently prescribed some Librium for awful stomach cramps. It seems that it is making all my food and drink now taste just terrible, like it's all got nutrasweet in it. I know the simple answer here is "just stop taking it", but that's really not an option.
The Google is useless on this, and I really miss drinking water that tastes like water, and not water with some awful chemical in it.
I guess, long question short:
Is this the medication causing this or do I have a brain tumor?

How do we keep the Bees away?
We are having an outdoor party this weekend and I am sure the Bees will be bad. What can we do to keep them away? I have heard that placing a bowl of honey nearby, but far enough from the crowd, works. Anyone try this? Any other options?
