I am trying to put together an itinerary for my parents who will be spending a week in Melbourne before my partner and I arrive. My mom really wants to see the penguin parade and I booked tickets for her - before looking into transportation to/from the island. Oops. Now I'm wondering if there's a way to fix this. [more inside]
What are my SIM options for a two week visit to Australia (Sydney) followed by a 1 week visit to NZ (Wellington then drive down west coast of south island to Queenstown)? [more inside]
What are the most fun things to do in Melbourne on holiday? I've got 4 days as a solo female traveller in my 30s. I'm not into footy but open to shopping, good places to eat (cheaply), cultural things and tourist attractions. Inspire me!

We are in Vincentia, NSW, Australia. We have a car and an unexpected weekend off. We've already done a ton of stuff in Sydney and we'd like to see someplace else. Help us plan our weekend trip. [more inside]
What are some unusual, creative, off-beat things to do/experience in Australia that would make for good and interesting travel-documentary TV? [more inside]
In Melbourne this weekend with my almost 12 year old daughter, staying in Carlton. What things are fun and don't require a car?
I'm headed to Sydney all next week for business, and I'm bringing my 5-months-pregnant wife with me... The problem: we don't know anything about Australia. We're staying at a very nice hotel in the Rocks and won't have a car. With that in mind, can you recommend some things to do? Also, are there any decent online equivalents to the U.S. alt-weekly papers, with current concert, event, and dining recommendations?
